  • Structure under construction - The building and materials installed in the project.
  • Materials in transit - Materials on the way to the jobsite.
  • Materials stored off site - Supplies waiting at another location for the project.
  • Theft and vandalism - Copper, appliances and fixtures stolen from the site.
  • Soft costs - Extra interest, fees and lost rents from a delayed completion.

Good to know: fenced and lit sites, cameras and a fire-watch plan help, and frame construction over three stories is the hardest to place.
